Alonzo Mourning In The News
Former NBA Great Alonzo Mourning in the news today may have opened up a can of worms when he said LeBron James would beat Micheal Jordans ass on the court. What? Yeah, that's right, that's what he said... I had to try and take my personal opinion out of it when I decided to write about this topic, but I can't! I'm a huge fan of MJ and his accomplishments during his years in the NBA. Alonzo is way off base here and he should know better...Alonzo Mourning |
Why is Alonzo Mourning in the news anyway? That fact that people are still trying to compare the current generation of NBA Players to Air Highness is a testament to his greatness! MJ played against some of the greatest NBA Players in NBA History, Hall of Fame Greatness. Go back and look at the list of super stars he had to go through on his rise to greatness and compare them to the players LeBron is currently competing against... There's no comparison, period... Don't get me wrong there are some very good players still playing during this King James era but C'Mon Man, nothing like the legends that played during the Air Jordan era.
I found Alonzo's comments to be just about a guy showing love to a player on a team he is still heavily involved with, I just can't take it serious! MJ was praised by the legends he played against not because they wanted to show him some love, it was because he was spanking all of their butts and they couldn't do anything about it... Alonzo Mourning in the news talking about anyone beating Micheal Jordan on a basketball court is just plain silly!

What do you think? Is Alonzo right or has he lost his mind? Leave your comment below... Now to be fair, King James is a beast! He is truly a gifted athlete and the NBA's best player, not taking anything away from him or his talent but lets leave it right there!!!!! If none of the NBA Legends, now Hall of Famers, couldn't beat his ass what makes you think LeBron would have been that guy? Alonzo Mourning in the news is the bigger story then ridiculous comment he made...
