Jamarcus Russell On The Road To Redemption
The one time NFL #1 Draft Pick of the Oakland Raiders has seen his share of disappointment during his short lived career but America loves a comeback story and it looks like the former QB's biography may not have its ending yet. If he were writing a book he could call it, "Jamarcus Russell On The Road To Redemption." He has been working extremely hard to earn a shot at playing in the NFL once again, he's lost at least fifty (50) pounds so far and still seems to have a cannon attached to his shoulder. I don't know if he is mentally or physically equipped to play in the NFL, more importantly, if he's mature enough to handle the demands he'll face if he gets the shot.Oakland Raiders #1 Pick |
I'd kinda like to see him back in the NFL, I'd like to see just how strong an arm he's got and if the hype was justified. Hell he was just a kid when he was given all that money and the pressure of taking the Raiders to the promise land. The Raiders were a mess, the pressure of a spotlight glaring over him was bright enough to blind him and it was way too much money for a kid... You have probably seen the latest feature story about the young QB hopeful and I think Jamarcus Russell is on the road to redemption!

Jamarcus Russell On The Road To Redemption, Final Thoughts
The good news for Jamarcus is he's got a rocket of an arm and you can't buy or teach that! As long as he continues to show signs of maturity on and off the field we should see him back on some teams sidelines. If Tim Tebow can continue to land on and NFL team, Jamarcus Russell's road to redemption should end under bright lights.
